Saab Dealer Experience... Posted by JustinHiFi [Email] ![]() ![]() |
On last Friday I went to the Saab Dealer to get my SRS light reset. (I pulled fuse #7) Quoted $60. Anyway, Reset the computer, and turned car on. Began to blink. The computer/book reference said that the driver's side front sensor resistance is too high, and needs to be cleaned. Well there is special Torx screws that hold the sensor in. The dealer could not find the screwdriver to remove the sensor! I need to come back on the 22nd, after they reorder a new set of drivers.
Charged me $30 +tax and rescheduled me.
Does their diag. sound ligitimate? What is the possibility that the sensor is bad? How much $?
