...is that it seems to be well engineered and sturdy, but it is VERY awkward. I have an '85 900T with a 5 speed transmission. With the TracTop model of the Husco armrest I have installed, I HAVE to leave it in the far rear position if I want to use the integrated cupholders. Also, when I did use the cupholder (I gave up trying a while ago) I found that although the cupholder slides out and consists of two spaces for a cupholder, you can't use the far one and be in either 2nd, 4th, or reverse gear because the gear shifter hits the cupholder even when the TracTop is slid into the rear position. Also, even with the armrest in the rear position, you can't pull the e-brake handle all the way up. It stops a couple of ticks short because it hits the bottom of the armrest.

The cupholder itself is a joke. The hole will fit a 12 oz can but the cheap little folding wire that folds down underneath the can causes the can to teeter forward or back. If you have a full can of soda, it can spill some off the top (right onto your power window switches and ignition switch). Further, the hole is too small to fit anything bigger than a can. If you have a 16-oz plastic soda bottle, it won't fit. Anything besides a small-size fast food soda cup won't fit.

Lastly, even with the TracTop in the far rear position it makes it very hard to access the electric window switches. You need to contort your arm into a weird position to reach over and around the armrest to actuate the buttons.

Overall I'm happy with the armrest, the quality, and the service from Husco (they shorted me some hardware and upon calling them they promptly made good with little to no questions and apologized), but they really didn't think about the cupholder portion of the thing (especially if you have a 5 speed) and didn't consider that Saabs have the window switches located in the center console floor.
