you can either attempt the job with rattle can paint available from a hardware store....or you can buy higher temp paints from automotive paint shops. The highest temp you can find in a rattle can is around 16-1800 degrees. In my experience this will be suitable for most any exhaust other than a volkswagen or a motorcycle. If not you can go to a paint studio and have them custom mix something in higher temps and put it into a rattle can.
