Attended a couple practice sessions - want to autocross my 89 900T, g-stock for now:
I've installed Saab's "Road Holding Kit" - is this the same as the SPG's OEM shocks/springs? I thought changing the springs wasn't legal in g-stock??
Also, I've read conflicting info on this board re: 205's being too wide a tire for the 5.5" rims. I'm considering Kumho Ecsta 712's 205/55/VR15 (full time tires - don't have the $$ for racing rubber) but am hesitant to buy: am I better off with a 195, or is the difference imperceptible? Does the 50% aspect ratio you suggest mitigate the tire vs. rim width problem?
Appreciate any auto-x advice :-)
