The light is useful in indicating a problem. The codes are not always helpful, though. Keep in mind that the codes are not absolute, but based on relative mensurements. Read the LH FAQ. Make sure that all connections to the AMM, NTC, Throttle position, O2 are good, solid and clean. You may also want to make sure that the ground bundle on the head is clean and tight (it had to be disconnected to get the head off). This point is the ground point for the complete FI system. A new O2 sensor will not hurt, but I would do this after verifying that the voltages of all of the components are reasonable. Make sure that the O2 sensor has 12V for teh heater. There is a table at the end of the FAQ which lists proper voltages and pin connections for the FI system. What codes were read?
