as far as rear wheels; yes - mucho problemo - I have had the whole rear seats, panels and luggage space carpeting and floor out to look at whats there; what's there is just huge cavities waiting for sound from the wheel arches to bounce around in.
my plan now is to use the "cheap dynomat alternative" inside the door panels; inside the rear seat quarter panels; over the rear wheel arches and inside the backmost side panels (where the fuel filler RH, and where elec ariel is LH), and maybe some other areas if thats a real improvement.
I might then also consider filling any huge areas with fire retardent foam.
I like the idea of the doors shutting with that heavy-quality sound, and yes I guess that this is going to add weight to the car, so I'll just have to get a thinner girlfriend to compensate!
