I have a similar situation. I set my timing and the car runs great but I get slight choppyness (is that a word?) around the same area, near max yellow. When I get in the lower red and higher rpm, it seems to settle down. I am going to clean my plugs and see what happens. Wonder if a MSD ignition would straigten it out?
