It's not bad at all. In fact it's common. The oil is usually drawn into the the induction system through the PCV. It just settles into the the intercooler because it's the low point.
You're loosing some boost through that leak in the intercooler. Maybe not much, and the O2 sensor compensates for a small difference between measured air and the air that gets through the throttle.
