My prior 900 (82 n/a) had that symptom, which progressively became worse - more pressure was needed as the car warmed up. It got to a point where during long periods of city driving the clutch would barely disengage. It worked fine after a period of cooling. The problem was the piece of flexible rubber tubing attached to the metal clutch fluid feed line just outside the clutch slave cylinder. It's purpose is so the slave cylinder can be moved aside while replacing the clutch plate, thus avoiding having to bleed the system of air afterwards. Well with age, that rubber tubing starts to lose it's rigidity. Then with added heat from the engine, it'll flex and puff out when you press the clutch pedal instead of sending the pressure on to the slave cylinder. Once I figured that problem out, I tried replacing that strip of rubber tubing with what I thought was a "rigid enough" piece of rubber fuel line commonly found in any car parts store. Turned out it wasn't rigid enough. I ended up replacing it with a piece of flexible aluminum tubing. Problem solved.
