I sold a 1988 SPG that was definitely not mint for $4000. The guy wanted it that way, since he was living in NYC. It had 162K on the odo. It was mechanicly mint when I sold it; it had no rust; and the interior was pretty damn nice. The body was not terrible, save one lrge gash the previous owner put in it from driving UNDER a truck! Wow!

I recently sold a 1987 SPG that was MINT save 2 minor problems: a small, easily fixable dent in the hood and the rear SPG panels were from an 88, so they had a flare to accomodate the wider wheel arch from 88+. The engine inside was from an 88 SPG (though the engine is the same as an 88 turbo, it's nice to say it came out of an SPG) and I super tuned it with various modifications, such as SPG9 Stage II APC. I delivered it to the owner, boosting 5/6 red. Fun ride. I sold that unit for $4800 with 140K on the odo.

I felt I was giving each of these people a deal. I have seen SPGs go for more $ in my lifetime. If it is really *mint*, then I could see paying over $5000-6000 for one; at that point it had better have some nice engine mods, too. Just my two cents.
