Plastic zip lock bags, some small clear plastic containers, heavy marking pen and tags.....and a few boxs for the odd large things. I've had my engine out 2x in last year and half and the most important aspect is making sure the right bolts and nuts stay with the right components. Also, you might want to take a couple of photos of the engine before your pull it. Then, when you get to putting back together and have the question: "where does this go, or, how does this fit/connect", you just look at the photo. That actually worked for me. Of course, it had been almost a year when I did the first reinstall.
