Stalling After Oil Change -- What Gives

My reliable 86 900 had the motor and gear box oil changed. Several days later I noticed a new problem. Upon starting the car, it threats to stall until the engine is raced. It also seemed to be idling high. I adjusted the idle (by the way, what should the tach read for idle?). The problem persists with the near stalling. Any ideas of the cause?
