I would change the oil often, like 2000-2500 miles & simply don't give the car enough gas to allow the turbo to develop any boost for the last minute or so of driving. If you do allow the turbo to spool up at all, then let it idle for a bit.
Stereo wise, check out Dave N's site for pics of my 87 SPG. You will see pics of a 6.5 component set which is installed in the kick panels. Doing the dronts this way I didn't need to waste money on rear speakers. Going with a 5 1/4 component set would be better because you could aim the speakers toward the middle of the car while my 6.5's face the middle. I just already had the speakers & couldn't afford another set :o)
Also click on GM's other pics & you will see 6.5's I mounted in the doors. If you go this route, only use 1 pr total & not 2 per door like I used, it sounded like crap :o( Doing the door speakers, I feel the best location for the tweeters is about the same place the tweets are with the kick panels. 1 is above the ECU & the other is by the hood release :o)
