Just got a full set of the 195/60HR15 P6000 Sport Veloces this past weekend. I got the H rated version. They replace Pirelli P4000s on the front and Pirelli P6s on the rear. The P6s were apparently seven to eight years old according to the date code and were coming apart!!!
Needless to say these P6000 SV are great! They're smoother and stick to to the road beautifully. I don't "track" my car, so I don't know how they'd handle in that environment, but I really love them on the freeway. However, I suppose ANYTHING at this point would be better than two tires which were coming apart!!! This ended up being the cause of the vibration I was getting at 85 - 90 mph on the freeway I posted about a couple of weeks ago...
While testing my brand new tires on the freeway, I got a ticket for doing 95 in a 65 zone. I was really doing 105 for a few seconds before slowing down, but the cop wrote me up for 95. He told me that at 100 you lose your license for six months so I think he was just being nice and writing me up for 95. Sad thing is I went from about 70 to 105 and back to 70 in a period of about 10 seconds, but that was the 10 seconds the cop saw me. And they say the Irish are lucky...
Good luck!
