the pass. front window was sticking down. So on the way to pick-up the Viet. take-out I leaned on the switch to try and get the window up. Well, after a while it seems this blew the 25amp window fuse. Lazy, I know and I'm paying for it now.
I'll put a new 25amp fuse in the wind. location, and touching any switch blows the fuse. This includes the open sun roof.
Took the switch pac out and cleaned/opened all the switches. 3hrs later. No deal. Blows fuse when I touch either front window switch.
Took off both front panels, disconnected motors, still blows fuse when I touch the switch.
I get continuity at the motor leads (wiring harness from swithces).
What did I fuse that now shorts? Where to look? Pretty certain that touching the switches blows the fuse?
They don't give you much room in the doors do they? Also, what goes between the decor panel and the door frame? 4mil plastic, nothing?
