Well, if you really need the car tomorrow you can go with the non-standard hose. Get some metal ties that tighten with a screw driver. New ones wouldn't be a bad idea, i got some at home depot for $.80 each.
Tighten them well. Also don't use this hose too long. Order one from sobstory or another sponsered site. It should be relatively cheap. When you put the new hose on, if you are gonna add coolant which I assume you would have to do since some must've leaked, open the bleeder so trapped air can get out. And do the 50/50 mixture with water/coolant.
The generic hose can be a short term solution if it doesn't leak drastically, but get the right part in the long term.
And watch your temp gauge while you are using the generic hose, don't wanna burn your engine!!
