Brake Light Problems: Update & another question

I pulled the left brake light assembly and connector last night. While a pin in the assembly showed some evidence of getting hot and melting plastic, it was not the group pin referred to at Townsend's site (I conjecture that this pin got hot and melted plastic one of the times my brake lights got stuck on all night). Anyway, the corresponding metal springy termination in the connector apparently also got very hot and lost its "springiness" so that it does not make good contact with the pin in the assembly--bending it out some does not do the trick. I have concluded that my brake lights do not work consistently simply because there is not good contact between the pin and the termination in the connector. Thus, I need to replace the metal springy termination.
Here's the question: Neither Radio Shack nor auto parts stores have this terminal. Anyone know where I can get one of these or another way to ensure good and consistent contact? Thanks.
