symptoms of warped rotors are pulsing brake pedal, period. Wobbly road or rough road are almost invariably suspension. Worn front calipers will clunk or grab (fail to release...results in boiled fluid, hot pads, overheated rotors/warped, see previous).
The front end of Saab is already severely overloaded, braking on a steep hill just makes it worse (I always wondered if it was possible to endo one on a San Francisco hill...).
check the alignment and bushings/ball joints before worrying too much about the brakes unless you can actually feel pedal pulsation during stops. Also, check lugnut or lugbolt torque. On lugnuts, no more than 60-65 lb-ft or slightly less with lubed/antiseized studs. On post 87 (88 & Up) with lugbolts, probably increased torque if the bolts are bigger than the <88 studs. For example, the five lugbolts on our Audi take 90 ft-lbs but they're one or probably two sizes thicker than the saab.
