Heh... I have more problems with my 92 900T. Today my Saab let me down. I was cruising down the highway doing about 65 or 70, when I noticed something wrong with my acceleration. I revved my engine and noticed my engine was free-revving. The gear shift was in drive (it's an automatic), but it wasn't catching. I tried all the different forward gears, but nothing worked. I coasted over to the side of the road. The only thing I knew to check was the fluid level, which was fine. The car would not engaged any gear, forward or reverse. With the car in gear, I didn't hear any noises out of the ordinary such as clanking or grinding. I wound up having the car towed to a local dealer and the jury is still out. Anyone have any ideas? Any ideas on cost? I'm hoping maybe it's a bad vacuum tube or some kind of a pump. How do these trannies work?
Please advise - Thanks!
Cliff K.
