Before I begin my first attempt at performing several maintenance projects. I would like to ask for any advise you might want to share, that would prevent future havoc. I have a 86' 900s, 16 valve, with manual trans.
My agenda: *Change out spark plugs *Dist.cap and wires. I recently (2 weeks ago) changed air filter-should I change that again because of the other items above? I would like to change the fuel filter as well but no knowledge of that proceedure. I recently was told there is no differance in plugs...I find it hard to believe though. I was also advised to run 5-30, 10-30 or even 0-20 oil (Phoenix summer 100 to 120 degrees) any thoughts on that suggestion, brand of spark plugs, dist. cap/wires?
