Basic tune up and timing adjustment first? The 82T I bought before chrissmas was in rotten shape. Thing should not have even started. But it did start, which is one of the reasons why i bought it. Also, the performance was no better than the 82 n/a I had been driving for years. Perhaps even worse. After weeks of extensive tuning up, cleaning and fixes, it came back to life with a vengence. So much so that I experienced something for the first time - boost is consistent and high (10 psi) enough that it has popped a vacuum hose or two from their connectors. It's even popped the intake throttle body rubber connector (from the IC output tube) clean off! That makes a fun sound. I grinned silly while fixing it beside the roadway. "Good car... OK, I'll tighten everything up nice for you..."
