can anyone help me with this? i replaced the bearing on the pulley on my seiko seiki a/c compressor on my 87 900T. i got everything back in order. pulley is silent and straight, and the clutch neither wobbles nor scrapes the pulley. my problem now is that the clutch no longer will cycle. once it's on, it stays on. can anyone tell me what the plug is that sticks straight out the top of the compressor? it has 2 wires, one of which goes to the clutch magnet. is this a switch of some sort?? a pressure switch maybe? are there other things that maight make the clutch stay engaged? could i have busted this switch? when i was working the compressor? HELP. two days of fighting with this, only to get ICE COLD air, but a smoking clutch.. btw, it will disengage quickly and completely if i turn off the ac switch.
