Well, what can I say...
I swapped my 75 25 595 LH brain from my other running '85T. The not running '85T started and idled at 3k+. Did all the throttle body tests & adjustments. Could not get the idle down. Took out the AMM. The resistance tested at 2k+ ohms. Someone had screwed the adjustment screw all the way in. So, I bring the AMM down to the right ohm-age. Start it up, idle is lower, still over 3k. About to give up for the day. So I swap the '86 LH brain into the car. p/n 75 32 146. Start it up. Idles at 850RPM. WOW. Don't ask, don't know why. So what gives?
1985 900T (daily driver) vin #YS3AT45L6F1017211
1985 900T (car trying to get running) vin #YS3AT46L0F1008356
1986 900T (donor/parts) vin #YS3AD36L62009255
So the earlier '85 likes to run on the LH brain from an '86. Who knew!
Oh yea, tranny fluid gone, power steering fluid gone/leaks bad, brakes non-existance........but it idles on 3 year old gas. Knock on wood. And not a speck of rust anywhere, thank you AZ.
