It isn't that I want to physically remove the turbo from the system. From what I have previously heard, trying to retrofit a turbo motor into a non turbo car is a weeklong project no matter how you look at it. Plus, I don't really have the space to have a donor car sitting next to me. I'll be lukcy if I get the space to do the motor and/or trans swap itself. My plan was to leave out the turbo related electrical and mechanical support stuff the first time around, just to get the car running, and driveable. Alot of the stuff I'll prolly end up upgrading anyway, and I can search out the rest of the stuff as funds and time permits. What it all comes down to is this-can I yank my motor, drop the turbo motor in the car as the car sits now (its running and driving now), and have a running/driveable motor?
