master is on firewall and slave is at clutch. Master drives the slave
First diagnose...
1)Check for leaks at hose fitting down near clutch cover, if bad replace and then bleed.
2)Check for leaks at slave, fluid will drip out of flywheel inspection hole underneath flywheel. If so, replace slave (you must pull clutch to do this so you might as well replace clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, main seal behind flywheel...saw slave piston in half with hacksaw to get slave and clutch out without spacer wire in pressure plate).
3)If no leaks, then master cylinder is probable culprit and should be rebuilt or replaced...Rebuild kit is cheap, but you might have a pitted cylinder, so a new or rebuilt master cylinder is the way to go. Call sobstory, Jim will help you out.
