I am guessing that your '82 has an APC already and you want a later model. Is that correct? I do not know how much it will help unless yours is dead. They were similar and later ones were a bit more tweakable as there is more information on the board and how it is layed out. I am not sure that the knock sensor is the same (it may be), but it will mount in the same spot. Make sure you read the bentley on positioning and torquing it as you don't want to break the housing. The pressure sensor is probably similar as well, but may have a slightly different calibration. Get the one which is with the APC unit to be sure. getting the harness from teh junk car makes it easy especially for the solenoid connector.
