Yeah, I've actually been pretty lazy in trying to figure it out, but then, my CE light is a little less active these days. When I first bought my SPG it'd come on one day and be on every time I drove the car for maybe a week. Then it'd disappear for a week, then come back...

I'm slowly removing excuses for the light: got a K&N air filter setup, replaced and fixed the vacuum lines and leaks, checked the AMM, got a new o2 sensor, new sparkplugs (not that they'd really help with the light) and now trying to track this stuff down. Eventually I'll get to the fuel system, which is what the CE light is there for (theoretically). I'd like to upgrade the boost a bit, after fixing up the APC system and ensuring the turbocharger and wastegate are OK, bigger fuel injectors and an RRFPR is on the list.

Nowadays my CE light is rare, usually occurring in early evenings or mornings, when the air is cool and moist up here in Boston. Its usually on for half an hour or so when I'm driving and generally comes on after the car's been warmed up a bit. Though its just transient enough that whenever I get it home the light is almost always off, negating attempts to pull the codes.

Unfortunately my Bentley's out in the car...
