I had a Saab indie mechanic install my Intrax springs on my car as well. However, at the same time he was installing my new shocks. The labor time they quoted me seemed extremely long, so I called around to some other shops who quoted even MORE time. I'm told that the fronts are much harder to install than the rears. So I went with the indie shop. All together the four springs and shocks (installation only as I bought all the parts over the internet) took about five hours and I was charged a total of $375. The shop's labor rate is $70/hr. I later realized that $70 times 5 equals $350, not $375, but I've since stopped going to that mechanic anyway as he's ripped me off in other cases...
