The problem with my radiator fan, is that I don't think its stock, so I don't see any of the parts or places anyone is refering too (guster900 message below). Its a 2 Fan deal, one fan is broken, but the other has always worked. Its always ran a tad hot, but fan would always come on. Now I'm about to hit red, and no fan... heres what happened. I parked my '86 900 in the garage for 2 days, before the radiator fan had worked. During those two days, I toke out the entire dash, put a very nice dash top on, a new dash facia, bezel and all, new glove box door, new speedometer, and hooked everything up. Took me a bit to get all the switches and knobs (like the air flow distributer) hooked back up properly, but now everything works. Couple things I noticed, first, I found an extra wiring harness tucked down where the light dimmer is on the bottom left of the facia( maybe for an option my car doesn't have?), and then on my Vacuum Air Flow Distrubuter Knob, Their are 6 connecters, but I only have 5 wires! But, it works exactly as before. So I toke it out on a test run to see how my speedo was working, and the heat was way up their... ever since then fan has not gone on. So I figured while I was installing the new radio, I blew a fuse... I had, but not the 30A ones that run the fan or anything, but I checked all the fuses, none others blown.... what could have happened while it was sitting? One other thing, Once it gets way up in the red, how long should it take to get back down to the mid? Not more than a couple hours right? I know I waited at least 2 hours, and the temp had only then gotten down to normal-- PLEASE HELP
