everyone w/ a C900 Turbo gets burns, a good way to get around burns is to go to an army surplus store and buy a pair of nomex aviator gloves. It helps to prevent the quick burns get when you brush by turbo/ exh manifold. Also you can change plugs, wires, hoses etc....
