The upper radiator switch cuts a/c when hot so a/c doesn't load engine when very hot. You can see if it's the switch by shorting the two wires together, which bypasses it. IF the a/c doesn't cut out anymore with hot engine,,replace that switch or keep wires shorted and keep an eye on your temp gage. If you ever have a cooling problem and temp gage goes near red zone, cut the a/c switch off to (hopefully) extend the driving time to meltdown.
