No, bob, the 134a is the refrigerant, and the oil is the oil. The oil circulates with the 134a. When I converted my Saab A/C to 134a, the kit came with four cans: three with 134a, and another almost identical can that said "8.5oz oil charge". After the system was evacuated I put two cans of 134a in followed by the oil (you hook the can up and turn it upside down and the oil gets sucked in, the same spot where you put the refrigerant in.) It's not like there's an oil dipstick on the compressor or anything. :)
