So then a 90% enrichment would go that much further to reduce knock, if only because of the cooling factor of all that fuel dumping into the combustion chamber. I say that because I've read here that a fair percentage of the fuel sprayed into an engine by a fuel injection system is actually used much like a coolant, in that it physically cools the internal metal surfaces that it comes into contact with. Particularly the valves. This is also what the internal water spray systems do.
So, now I'm very interested in installing a system which grounds terminal 11 during boost. Thank you for the idea and insight Kevin.
