Up to a point it's possible to straighten the rear axle yourself, then take it to an alignment shop and see how close you got it.
Up/down bends, like the kind you get from jacking the car up using the middle of the rear axle, can be taken out using a couple of floor jacks and a hold-down of some kind over the middle of the rear axle...make sure you don't pinch the hydraulic brake line along the axle.
Position the floor jacks under the rear suspension arms right under the axle; tie the middle of the axle down to the floor (you may have to drill a hole and punch in an anchor or cement one in, I'd guess one capable of holding 3-5K lbs would be sufficient based upon the weight of the car...if 2-3K bends it one way, 3K would bend it back!
Once the middle is tied down, raise the side jacks equally a little bit at a time until the axle is as straight as you can get it...you'll have to raise the side jacks a little more than straight to get the axle to hold straight when you let the car down.
Then it's off to the alignment shop!
If the axle is bent front to rear or vice versa, you'll need a body repair shop with a rack. Same process, only they hold the axle and pull the car forward or back.
