Turbo/SPG Lowering Springs?

Hey,
Workin with a 1989 900S here. With my new wheels and low profile tires, I can now see a huge gap between the wheel and the arch. BUT, I'm low on cash.
If I were to get a set of FRONT Turbo spring, would I see any difference in ride height? I'm going to try to get a pair of SPG springs, but if it doesnt work out.. will the turbo springs be worth it?
Any of your thoughts are welcome.
Thanks
Taylor
