Tcar must be hungry, but he has a point. Oil! The rubber will look better with oil on it. I opt for silcone.
About once a year I tape off the car and spray straight silicone onto my wing. It leaves 'drain-off' marks for about the first 3-4 rains, but then none. It holds the black color well (better than water based products- of course). Never an issue with sun damage- it's already old.
Both products will hide wax, but it's tough to remove it. Elbow grease and a stiff brush seem to work best.
Good luck,
Steve
