I presume you're referring to one of the bolts with a 10mm head that go into the right or left ends of the bolster through the firewall. My recommendation is to drill the sucker out and use a larger diameter self-tapping (sheet metal) screw as a replacement. If I recall correctly, the bolt just goes into a thick piece of sheet metal moulded into the bolster.
Perhaps it's an inappropriate question, but what is the bolt doing in the bolster? You've got the bolster on your kitchen table and that normally means that all the bolts had to be removed to get it out of the car. Did you put it back in and twist the head off? Was it broken off before you removed the bolster? Did you fail to undo the bolt and broke it off when you reefed on the bolster to remove it? What's the relationship to the glue you talked about in a post from a day or two ago? What gives?
