Need guidance to a GOOD older Audi list (LONG!)

I've been hanging around here asking some questions and offering an occasional suggestion for four years or so, ever since one of my daughters dragged home a bargain '90 900S with many problems of the "Oh, Daddy can fix that sort," and also visiting bimmer.org regularly for my older son's '78 320i, recently replaced by a '91 318i (wonderful! -- except for a cracked oil pan and the effects of 197,000 highway miles), but now I'm faced with another of the kids finding a '93 Audi 90S with only 172,000 miles. This one actually seems to be in excellent running order, but I want to be ready and have my information stacked and waiting . . . , nevertheless, I am very disappointed in not finding a really good mechanical information website comparable to this one or brickboard.com or bimmer.org (if only there weren't so many rich little brats there who post pictures of the cars their grandmas gave them for their 16th birthday, but which I couldn't possibly afford at 59 and 34 years of teaching). Audiworld is just all sales propaganda for the new models, as far as I can find, and so is VWVortex. Is there any secret private place where the real Audi techs all hang out?
