At your convenience, take the car/coolant cap to the shop and have it tested (they have a doo-hickey for this). Cap seal failure w/ age is not uncommon; the coolant loss can vary from insensible to dramatic. New is ~$15 (you could get one from a junker cheap, but potential hassle again down the road assuming it's good to begin with)
If the cap is good, inspect hoses again and snug up clamps. Tiny leaks can lie dormant, leaking tiny amounts of fluid, for a long time before splitting open (as happened to me last week!). Water pump housing is hard to visualize from above, but you could have loss at the gasket there, too. Warm fluid may evaporate fast off the pavement, or be so little you don't notice it.
If that's all good, consider pin-hole rad leak (sweet smell? could try some Bars Leak for temporary fix) at radiator or heater core; also the possibility of slow head gasket failure (gas bubbling up in resevoir when running, sweet and/or white exhause? ~$500 head job). Either might best be diagnosed by your saab tech. Good luck!
