Coolant Overheating

Whenever I drive my 88 900 for a long distance (more than 100 miles), the temp gauge will climb up and end up overheating. I never let my car pass the red line, but I often pull my car over to the rest stop and cool it down.
I had this experience at least several times. I think it's getting worse since it's summer, so I checked my car into the shop. Nobody at the shop could tell me exactly what the problem was, but when I said I experienced the problem when I travelled a long distance, then the tech. said it might be the clogged radiator, so I replaced the radiator.
When I came home, I developed another problem. I was just idling in front of my house for about ten minutes. Then, all of sudden, I see steam coming out from the hood. I checked the engine temp. it was well below the red line and somewhere between red and middle. But, my coolant was boiling over. I don't know what to do. Anybody has any idea what might be the cause of this problem?
