The cold start/run problem - sounds like fuel air mix is at fault. Relative to engine temp and oxygen sensor. Possible cause is a vacuum leak causing too much air to leak into intake, which messes up the O2 sensor, Lambda control and modulator valve feedback loop, causing a misreading and subsequent lack of sufficient fuel during warm-up. Any one of those components could be at fault. Most likely a vac leak or bad O2 sensor. My 82 900 non-turbo had that problem. I was told to disconnect the O2 sensor upon a cold start-up to see if the idling and initial drivability improved. It did. Until I could get it diagnosed and fixed properly, I installed a kill switch inside the car to disconnect the O2 sensor upon start-up.
Wheels making noise when sharp turning - I believe that's normal. Just the way the turning radius was designed. At slow speeds and a sharp turn, one of the wheels sort of "pulls" the car in the direction of the turn moreso than the other wheel. Two wheels wanting to go in slightly different directions causes the squeeling. Especially on smooth surfaces like the concrete in a parking deck.
