That was me "appropriately responding" to your initial post. My attempt at some humour. If your read your original post, notice that it was phrased in a way as to warrant a goofus reply. Here's a more respectable reply.
Whether through the firewall near the brake boost or the doorframe, it goes to the same place. Now that we know the year of your car - once inside the cabin, it may go to a few places first before the eventual guage. There's an overboost protection switch for one. Don't know for sure, but the cruise control system might also have a vacuum connection. The engine side connection taps into the intake manifold fitting via a T connection somewhere along that line. From what I gather from your post, you have no place to reconnect. That suggests someone disconnected the intake manifold fitting connection, possibly because of a leak somewhere beneath the dash. Replacing a T with a straight coupling is an obvious quick fix. Maybe they replaced the vac tubing entirely, leaving no evidence of a T. If so, then all you have to do is tap into that hose with a T. If you then find a leak beneath the dash, you'll have to fix that.
