I have a '92 900s 16v. About a week ago I was at a buddies place and
when I left my car would turn over but wouldnt start? I took
off the fuel rail bolt to see if I had fuel pressure but nothing??
I listened to my fuel pump relay on the passenger front side kick panel
( thats where it is right? ) and I heard a clicking when I turned the
ignition on. I heard both a click in the front of the box and a click
in the rear as well. I think the Lambda relay is the front one
and the fuel relay is the rear...correct?? Well I heard a click from both
when the key was turned on. So does that mean my relays r working?
I would assume so. I have a new fuel pump arriving today and b4 I put it in
I wanted a second opinion b4 I put it in and find that it may not
be the fuel pump. In which case I have wasted $200!! Does a 1992 900s have
a pre pump?? Could it be my fuel filter clogged up?? Or does it sound like
a fuel pump problem?? I have the fuel pump collett off but cant seem to pull
the pump out though. A stiff black hose is travelling from the
pump to the outside of the pump housing preventing me from getting it out of
the small hole thats made for just the right size of the pump. Not the pump plus
a 1/2" hose. Thanx for your help and sorry this is soo long!!
