power steering pump issues.....

i'm chasing this power steering fluid leak on an M85 900T.

I replaced the high pressure line to find that either the supply line(not likely) or the pump has a slow leak. So, replace both.

I tried getting the pump out today. What gives! Bentley fails me here, and I quote (last step):

"7. Working from the engine compartment, remove the pump bracket top nut and bolt. Swivel the pump toward the wheel arch and remove it from the car."

Well, no matter what i did that pump was not coming out.

Finally:

1. removed pass. motor mount
2. removed pump from bracket(not easy, as bolts are between pulley and pump)

Pump looks fine, so does hose.....and the drips were coming from the hose!

So, does anyone have any pointers on getting the pump out. I've got to get the parts car pump out tommorow.
