If the LH computer is bad, you will need to supply a ground (not 12V) to the circuit (as is) to make the fuel pump run. Otherwise you need to jump 30 and 87b at the fuel pump relay socket. (pat's suggestion may also do the same thing, but am not sure). If you do this and it runs, you will have to do the further tests to see if it is a relay or the LH. I seem to see a lot of '89 LH failures recently, but don't know why. I had an 89 with a bad FI and I had to ground the relay to make the fuel pump run whenever the key was on. It runs fine and will be like this until I get a '90 ECU.
