My manual only goes up to '88,but here are some numbers from the factory.
Oil pressure reducing valve opens at:
B201 - 65-72 psi
B202 - 52-75 psi
Warning light comes on at 4.4-7.2 psi (it just happened to me and I replaced the sensor and all was well)
Oil pressure at 2000rpm,engine at 176 degree F and 10W30 oil - 39 psi
To measure-take off the sending unit and screw the gauge where the switch was. Run the engine as specified above. Hopefully you get a number near 39psi. I don't know what the danger zone is. A low number might mean a pump rebuild. The book says you can do it in the car, but it seems like alot of sweat and some aggravation. But being a Saab owner I'm sure you might be used to some degree of aggravation.
