I own an 85saab 900 and although it's been very, very, VERY dependable all this time, it's been acting a little different lately.

I have changed just about all I can think of to try and fix a recent problem. If you have any suggestions please offer. What the heck...can't use it right now anyway.

Problems
(1) Turns but not starting
(2) After warm low idle...have to be careful because it can (and has) cut off
(3) Less recent after below fixes... but I still get a 'burp' (engine cut out) at 5th gear and ~3000rpm. RPM goes to zero at a repeated speed interval (from 66mph to 67mph) and when it occurs it's always in this range.

Not sure if any are related but I imagine they are...
Could it have ANYTHING to do with the PCV valve?

Replaced
* spark plugs
* ignition control module
* air filter
* fuel filter
* checked vacuum hose connections

Previous suggestions were to...
* clean AIC. I can't find it. Another person commented that the 85'900 doesn't have one.
* hall sensor. Seems kinda tricky. Hoping to try any other quick fixes first. Could this really be it?

Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated.
