They're a little harder to diagnose.
Other than taking them apart (while you're there, you might as well replace the bushings anyway) or manhandling the rear suspension with a crowbar to see what extra play there is, I don't think there's much you can do for diagnosis.
Once I had an obviously bad one - I could push the rear sway bar bushing on my 900S in and out of it's normal position with my fingers.
This one's going to take a little thinking ....
