Changed out most of my vacuum tubes with the yellow silicon kit from Saab Savior, plus an new APC solenoid. Man, what a difference it made! While the turbo doesn't seem to spool up any faster, the throttle definitely has a quicker response. Though I did manage to blow off the tube to the bypass valve and stalled the car out, which was a pain because I had to reseat it without disrupting any of the nearby tubing.
This got me wondering about the whole vacuum system. The Bentley seems to gloss over it, offering only a few very high level schematics on how it works. After scrubbing away some road grime I found a neat little schematic on the left wheel well (hey look at that!) but I also found that wanting. I was wondering if anyone had a complete, well diagrammed schematic for the whole vacuum system (cruise control and all). I'd really appreciate it.
