What type of socket did you use to try and take the caliper bolts off? A six point socket and a breaker bar usually works. I use an impact gun with lots of torque but most people don't have this available to them. Stripped heads. hmm. A torch probably won't work. I don't think you can get access to where you have to put the heat (where the threads screw in.) If you can get access beware of the CV boots. They melt and burn along with all the oil you sprayed on them. An oxy/acetylene torch is better than propane. More heat quicker. You might have to get someone to get them cherry red to get the bolts out. Some socket sets with thin walled chrome sockets give too much when trying to torque (hence they round the heads). Maybe you can borrow a impact socket with 6 points and breaker bar from someone. Good luck and reply.
